Why was my application declined?

We do our best to offer loans to as many students as possible. Unfortunately, there are situations that we cannot extend a loan. For your reference, our to main decision factors surround your Financial Profile and your Academic profile. Academic Profile:

If our decision is based on your academic profile, you will receive an email from Sixup letting you know that we are unable to move forward with your application. Reasons that we may have declined your application could include your past academic performance or you did not meet our basic eligibility requirements.

 

Financial Profile:

During our review, we do pull a hard credit inquiry to consider your financial profile in our decision. You do not need a credit score in order to receive a loan with Sixup. If you do have a credit score and their are factors that are negatively affecting your credit score (accounts in collections, delinquencies, etc), this could impact our decision.

Please note that if you have not received an email that includes the reasoning for our decision, it can take up to one (1) business day to make it to your inbox.
